That’s exactly what happened on March 23, 2026, when Microsoft confirmed that the next Xbox Partner Preview is happening this Thursday, March 26.

In October 2023, Xbox launched a new broadcast format that was specifically designed to highlight both its third-party partners – AAA Studios and indie developers. The event will be broadcast digitally on YouTube and Twitch on the UK’s official Xbox channels on Thursday, 26 March 2026 at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern / 5pm.

Strangers from Heaven – Rio Ga The Mystery Project of Gotoku Studio
This is the big one that everyone is waiting for. Originally teased under the codename “Project Century,” The Stranger From Heaven is set to be released. Being developed by Gotoku Studio – the same team behind the beloved Like a Dragon and Judgment series. The game was first officially revealed at The Game Awards in December 2024.
It is described as a detective game set in 20th century Japan. I don’t know much yet, But the Xbox Partner Preview promises to be an in-depth look. Fans are finally going to get a real taste of what Rio will be like. Gotoko is cooking. Given the studio’s track record of incredible storytelling, expectations are sky-high.
2: Heart of Chornobyl – The Zone still has a lot to tell
The second confirmed title is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornoble by GSC Game World game launched to strong reviews and enthusiastic fans, but the team has made it clear that there’s more story left in the zone. Fans are expecting DLC news, potential multiplayer updates, or a major performance patch. An update on a showcase of this scale means something important is coming.
Expansion: Osiris Reborn – Sci-Fi RPG enters the light
This is the third confirmed game. Expansion: Osiris Reborn, an action RPG set in the world of James S.A. Cory’s fictional sci-fi series. It’s being developed by Owlcat Games – the studio that has built a serious reputation in the RPG space. Setting up his next big project in The Expanse universe is a bold and inspiring move. Fans of both books and the TV series will be watching very closely.
World Premieres and Game Pass Surprises
That’s what makes this event really interesting. The Xbox announcement also teased “brand new shows, world premieres, and Xbox Game Pass announcements.” There were several world premieres of the November 2025 Partner Preview, That’s why it’s more frequent.
